1. Global Media Consultation & Buying:
* Ocean.Blu orchestrated an extensive media buying strategy that included placements on prestigious platforms such as China CCTV, Phoenix Satellite TV, TV5Monde, DWTV, and RBC TV Russia. Additionally, strategic out-of-home (OOH) media campaigns were launched in key markets including Hong Kong, Macau, China (across 72 cities), and Russia (in 6 cities).
2. Regional Campaign:
* A thematic campaign was developed specifically for the markets of Japan, South Korea, and Far East Russia. This included the creation of three versions of a TV commercial, each tailored to local languages, along with eight versions of key visuals, also adapted for regional languages. Ocean.Blu served as the media planner and buyer across various channels including print, television, OOH, and digital media from 2016 to 2018.
3. Public Relations:
* In 2016, Ocean.Blu organized a press conference and event in Vladivostok, Russia, which played a crucial role in enhancing media coverage and public engagement within the region.
Outcomes:
The comprehensive approach taken by Ocean.Blu in partnership with Tourism Malaysia led to a significant uptick in tourism figures from the targeted countries.
